What you need
- An Android phone with USB-OTG (USB host) support — most modern Android phones have it.
- A USB UVC camera — a standard plug-and-play USB webcam-type camera (UVC = USB Video Class), e.g. on a pole or extension mount.
- A USB-C / micro-USB OTG adapter or cable if your camera's plug doesn't fit your phone. For two cameras, a powered USB hub.
Install in three steps
- On your Android phone, tap Download APK above.
- Open the downloaded file. If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps (Settings › Apps › Special access).
- Plug in the camera, open PoleScope, tap Allow — and you're live.
